[W/]Module freezes when loading a new tape if recording armed

 

Environment:

Doepfer LC9 case with Doepfer PSU-3. Power supply at 70% of capacity

 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Turn on system
2. Press play
3. Press record
4. Enter global mode
5. Press loop to select a tape
6. Select yellow-play tape
7. Flick down to load
8. Module freezes

 

Expected result:

W/ should load the new tape, and enter NAV mode.

 

Actual result:

• W/ is unresponsive to all button presses.
• Lights are frozen as if we're still in tape-select, but the mode-lights have stopped animating
• Audio goes silent, input monitoring can no longer be heard.
